The London Metropolitan Archives have recently launched a Saturday Matinee Film Series on their YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1aZDOHLdCivBT38LYz1_Xg.
These films will be published on the first Saturday of every month and are from LMA’s Film Collection. Many of these films have been recently digitised in HD quality and one has been digitised in 4K definition.
The June Saturday Matinee showing is a London double feature depicting a tour of the Capital. These two films below have been recently digitised into High Definition quality and you can view them now on YouTube:

In case you missed them, the May film in the series was Victory Day (1946), which depicts the London Victory Celebrations on 8th June 1946, commemorating the British and Allied victory in the Second World War; and the first film in the series was City of London (1951), which was made for the Festival of Britain and explores the many different customs and landmarks within the City of London in a single day.
