Engagement and Access Manager  – Staffordshire Archives & Heritage

Salary:  £42,821 to £46,845 per annum 37 Hours per week – Permanent  

Staffordshire Archives and Heritage are looking for a creative thinker to take a leadership role in the service responsible for the Engagement and Access Team. As a key member of the management team you will lead on delivery of the History Centre Activity Plan to create a new inclusive onsite visitor offer including: activities, learning, exhibitions, digital offer, research, and leading our volunteer offer. You will recruit new project posts to deliver the Activity Plan, manage a small team and have responsibility for the engagement and access budget.   Closing Date: 18 October 2021

Assistant Archivist – University of Huddersfield

Salary: Grade 7, £35,654 – £40,105 per annum – permanent

The University of Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Archivist to work in the University Archives in its multi-award-winning facility Heritage Quay. You will have a degree/Post Graduate qualification in Archives Management, Records Management or the equivalent experience along with experience of staff supervision. You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Duties will include research room supervision, archival appraisal and cataloguing, digital preservation, answering enquiries and liaising with a range of stakeholders. The postholder will also lead on skills training and teaching for the service.
