Open GLAM and Copyright Webinar series

Two interesting webinar series are scheduled for the next weeks:

the Open GLAM now! series by the Swedish National Heritage board, that focusses on how museums and other cultural heritage institutions can open up towards their audiences with the help of digital data and media; and the

Digital Single Market Directive Webinar Series by LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche – Association of European Research Libraries), that focusses on how librarians and academics can be involved in their country’s national implementation of the new Digital Directive for what concerns copyright, and explains the details of the directive

Repost: The International Copyright Literacy Community of Practice

On Thursday 27th June in Edinburgh, UK Copyright Literacy is holding an open meeting to discuss the emerging international copyright literacy community.

The IFLA Copyright Literacy and Copyright Education Statement issued last August is very much the catalyst behind wanting the establish this community. However, it also builds on the work started by the International Copyright Literacy survey group.
